Chaplaincy Team

The Rev’d Jean-Daniel WilliamsChaplain

Jean-Daniel helps guide our worship services and Bible studies and supports student community service projects and social activities. He also meets one-on-one with students to talk about life, providing a loving and listening ear, and to pray.

He earned his undergraduate degrees from Harvard and a master of divinity from Yale and was very involved in campus ministry at both schools. He is completing a PhD in theology at the Université de Lausanne in Switzerland focused on children’s role in Christian community. As chaplain, Jean-Daniel also serves as a volunteer associate minister for young adults at St. James United Church. At Christ Church (Anglican) Cathedral, he serves as the associate pastor for children and families, youth, and students.

Chaplaincy Support Committee

The chaplaincy is a small nonprofit financially supported primarily by the Anglican and United churches and kind donors. Experienced and passionate volunteers representing the Anglican Diocese of Montréal, the United Church of Canada Québec Presbytery, and the McGill community ensure we keep our ministries going by serving on the support committee that oversees our work.
